i thought my score was high until i heard ppl were in the millions. how is that possible? is there a way to cheat or something? i recently got the blackberry and i’m addicted to this game!

i was at 140,040 and my little cuz dropped my phone and the back piece came off….i thought i lost my score but it was still on….i beat it 8 times in a row with 23 lives left but i killed myself on purpose to allow the score to show on my phone….so thats my score 140,040

I’m currently at 2,233,650 with 1272 lives. I’ve been playing the same game for 9 months while on a plane when traveling. That’s 128 times though the 34 levels on my Blackberry. After you get through all 34 levels 3 times, the game gets easier.

Does anyone know where the high scores are sent to and posted when you send them from your blackberry?

Currently 258,760 with 52 lives. I am addicted, cant stop, but not sure if i am going to be able to keeps this going for 9 months to get to 2,200,000…..

Thanks for posting on my blog. I currently have 1,450,660 points and 221 lives. I believe I have passed the 34 levels 80 times.

But now I have a problem…

Everytime my ball touches a brick, or the upper boundary of the screen, I get the “try again!” message as if I lost a life. Unfortunately, it doesn’t subtract a life, so I can’t post my score. I also cannot pass the level I am on, because I can’t get the right angle from the starting position to hit some of the bricks.

HELP… Any ideas about what to do?

I’ve been playing my current game for about a month now. My current score is 1,376,500 with 378 lives remaining. My goal is to get in the top ten and then kill myself off. For all you that can’t believe the scores out there, it is possible. I recently broke through the 2×34 level barrier. It took a few months of practice. Once you get past the second round, there are no more bragging rights. Actually the more points you boast, the more you should be scorned for frittering away your life. The game isn’t challenging and becomes boring, a way to pass time only. So if you’ve made it past the second round, pat yourself on the back and forget the game. You’ll be better for it

Several months ago. I got to 3,653,000 and 728 lives and the thing reset on its own. More recently, I was up to 2,158,000 and 720 lives (accumulating even faster) and it wigged out again.

Hey what is the game like after you beat it 2 times in a row?

Just an FYI to anyone interested. The highest score possible is 99,999,999. Then it resets back to zero. You heard me - ZERO.

I found this out the hard way and I have never played again.

Actually - I guess possible is 99,999,995 since you can’t score single points.

Current score is 1,087,810 with 224 lives. Previously I did have it up to 700k and it ended up resetting on its own - talk about depression. It does help pass the time when traveling. My husband will be happy to know that there is an end in site. So if it took me 4-5 to get to a million, I may finally submit my score and give it up in about 495 weeks. So very very sad - I need help!

I need some help.I have a high score of 1,213,230. I had to end it there for now to save the score as I seem to have a tech glitch that makes me have to re-start /set my phone by taking out the battery which of course erases the score. I tried to submit my score but it said the password was wrong & I needed to change it in Options. I did & it still does not let me send my score. Any ideas out there? Thanks

No cheats, once you get through a couple times, the game NEVER ENDS!!! I don’t know how you get 5 either, unless there is some way in the pay version or something…

my friend and i are serious crackberry brickbreaker addicts but we had NO idea you could hit those kind of scores.. i genuinly though ti had the highest score in the world (just under 10 thousand) and that it was mortally impossible to beat the game… we appreciate the fact that you have shown as that we aren’t that bad addicts, mainly but the fact that you have a website dedicated to your game!!… and yet we googled it and read it.. whatever man.. keep it real and… don’t play when your driving dumbass!!

oh my god, i love my brickbreaker and today i FINALLY made it to level 16 and i was SOOO excited then i get on here, read about all your absurdly high scores and i am determined to beat all of you and be the best brickmastaaa around.

sure i might not be able to drink you under the table

or eat the most hot dogs in a short amount of time
but i will play brickbreaker more hours of the day than any of you could possible dream. i have 21 hours of my day to devote to breaking bricks, now how many of you have that advantage?

You get the 5 points by shooting a brick with on laser shot. Maximize points by shooting bricks this way and you can get 15 points per brick segment. I’m currently in the middle of a game at ~95,000 points and 43 lives - a rookie around these parts.

4.5M points and 1832 lives and then it happened. You crackberry addicts know what I mean… The phone reset.game lost. I almost had a break down until I thought about how easy the game is after you break through level 34 the 2nd time and thus, it isn’t a challenge anymore. Why are we so addicted?

I saw my friend at a Utah Jazz game like 2 months after I got my blackberry curve. I noticed he had one and asked his score. He asked to see mine first, it was at 10K. He showed me his at 29K and I thought it was insane, I didn’t understand how that was possible, I hadn’t even got past the damn horseshoe on level 16. I was determined to beat him, it was my only reason for playing…and I wanted to beat all 34 levels at least once. One day I had an amazing game and scored 31K. He was so pissed and I was so happy to crush him. Then he beat me about a month later with a higher 31K. Then he got to 32K a week later. I was determined to crush him and put the reccord so far out of reach he wouldn’t even try. I had my “breakthrough” game that I am currently playing about 3 days ago. My score is currently 122,010 with 27 lives. The game is so boring after you’ve gone through all the levels 3 times. I had a small hope that I could possibly become the greatest in the world….and then I found this site. I’m officially announcing my retirement, the game’s been good to me and I to it, but I won’t donate another minute of time to this pointless pursuit. Forturnately my friend was discouraged enough by my score that he won’t even attempt to try and beat it. Yes, Popola, it is in fact possible to build up over 100 lives. I have spent many hours over the past 3 years (on and off) playing brickbreaker on two different models of Blackberry. But it wasn’t until I got a newer Blackberry (about a month ago) with the “thumb ball” on the front (so your thumb actually moves in the direction you want the paddle to move (left or right), making it much easier), that I finally broke through with an “un-ending” game (like many other posters on this site). In my current game, I am at 275210 points, with 110 lives. I am on my 16th time through the levels. There are no cheats that I know of. It just takes practice (and in my case, an upgraded Blackberry!)

After 80X of all 34 levels, score 1,398,460, with 325 lives. At level 1 of 81st round with only one brick left, I just can’t score any more. Whenever the ball hits the top wall, I was asked to try again, even though counting of lives doesn’t change.

Is there anything you can do if the ball disappears into the border…….agony!!!

I have 307 lives and I am at 1,078,380. According to the leaderboard the next highest is 1,000,000? Where can I find the real leaderboard?

If the ball disappear into the border, the only way is to restart. This happens often when brick dropped only once from top. Let the bricks drop at least twice, the bonced ball will not disapper into the border.

After going around twice to the end, the game gets extremely easy and you keep getting lives like crazy. I have so far done it only twice, and getting better at it, However, to keep playing on after you went around twice is pointless and you have to be a real hermit to be playing to get even over 100,000 let alone into millions. Is it possible to get to millions without cheating…absolutely…but it takes hours a day, and many, many ..way too many months…the game is not even interesting after that at all, so you may as well kill yourself and start over again. Ironically, when you see the scores in the million mark, it is almost like looking at a list that should be called “I need to get a life” list.

I started playing when riding in a car for 15 hours. It was fun at first now almost at 575,000 w/ 183 lives 34X(14×34) it seems pointless. I was only trying to see how far I can go and a friend said keep playing because he hasn’t beat it a first time yet. But what’s the point? I guess if I’m bored I will keep playing or actually download a cool game! Now that it’s soooooooooooooooo boring and easy!!

I am just over the 500,000k mark with 121 lives. Once you are at this level you really can’t lose and it can become very time consuming (aka addictive!). The challenge is gone so I am done with the game. Cheers

425,220 with 110 lives. It really does get boring after going through it three times. My phone is starting to act up so I plan to get over 500K and kill myself off. I’m sure the designers of the game didn’t plan for people to keep at it like we all do, they probably think we’re losers. No tricks. Although, I do notice that sometimes if I get a text or email while I have the laser, it’ll go through the metal blocks sometimes.

I think it’s funny that people are saying “get a life” but are 1) reading through this site as well as the comments 2) probably found this site looking for the high scores to brickbreaker 3) have no idea what people do with their lives.

I play this game on the subway to kill time between staring at hobos and panhandlers. Gives me something to do in that 30 minutes it takes me to get to work. I’m only at about 170k, but I don’t see any reason to quit the game because I’d just end up playing it again anyway.

One thing to note though: if you get the slow powerup, it WILL speed up again. If you’ve been through the game twice already, it never speeds up, which…actually sucks, no challenge…but no matter how many times you go through the game, if you grab slow, it will go through the usual cycle and speed up like the first time through.

Lately, I take all the powerups, even the flip, just to challenge myself and grab the 50 points.

“These people have no lives” is the mantra of people who can’t do something, and decide that it’s stupid instead. Pat yourselves on the backs, douchebags.

Have been playing this game for about 2 months now. I can see how you can get up to 1.x million within a year.

Hey BBadict,

You have to set up a username and password when you begin. You have to remember the password you setup. When I get a new phone, I always go to the game menu and input this information so I know it works before I commit to a long game. Hope this helps.

hmmmm I have 1,421,120 and 835 lives. but if this game never ends…..and i keep racking up lives, how the hell will I ever be able to submit my score? it would take me a month of trying to lose lives just to end the game!

if they had any sense at all, at a certain point they would simply stop the game at say 100 rounds, give some extra points for however many spare lives you have left and thats your score to submit.

I don’t see how you all do it. I have a max of 8710 and 16 levels and that was probably a fluke for me.

Brickbreaker is exactly like a job. The first two times around is challenging. Then it gets easy and becomes about endurance. I posted a 500K score. Then decided to try to beat it but the battery went dead before I got back to that level. Now I’m back up near 800K and I need to just stop.

Seriously. And if I see you playing while driving I’ll run you off the road. Not that you’d notice…

does anyone realize that once you get to 60k with over 25 lives you cant lose and will play forever? whether you are at 10million or 200k doesnt matter cause the game doesnt get harder, so there is no way you will ever lose…..all being at 10 million shows is that you have more time on your hands….i am currently at 150k with 55 lives and there is no way it is physically possible i will ever lose, along with the rest of you on this board…..someone call verizon and tell them to make it so this fucking game gets harder each time you lap the game.

Ok I don’t feel so bad anymore…I had 368,100 points but my stupid phone froze while trying to send an MMS picture message and I lost my score…you should’ve seen the look on my face when I realized what I had done moments ago!

How do I submit my high score???

I’m at 500K with a little over 100 lives and I’m going strong, I know the game will end someday, but hoe do you submit your score? I have tried in the past and my password was incorrect…

I’m now at 540.000 Points with 240 lives. A nerver ending game?

I think it’s true that once you get to 60k with over 25 lives you cant lose and will play forever. I think it’s a ploy to wear out the phone before it’s time. I’ve been through all levels 80 times and my current score… 1,317,560 with 165 lives.

I would have over 7 mil had my phone not spontaneously reset itself twice in the last 3 months. I had almost 5 mil the middle of Sept with over 300 lives when I went to Vegas. My phone reset itself while I was in the room. I was playing that game for over 6 months. I started a new game and had just under 2 mil when it reset itself the night before last. I am so mad. So instead of working on my game which I had a 12 mil goal, my phone still shows 57K. What a joke. Anyone know how to prevent this?

I am at 2,100,500 with 613 lives….I play this when sitting at airports while waiting.

I was playing and got to over 500,000 and 84 lives. I woke up this morning and it was gond and did not even capture this high score. My previous score was in there and a new game was up. Has this ever happened to anyone else????? Really sucks!!

I am 51 years old and I love this game! I started playing about four months ago and it has, without a doubt, been the most fun, satisfying and rewarding experience of my life. I’m still not that good — high score of 25,350 — but I am convinced that Brickbreaker finally gives me a chance at achieving true greatness. I would quite happily play this game 12 hours a day for the rest of my life.

My wife was very supportive when I started out but has now turned on me and is actively trying to disrupt my playing. Worse, she regularly sics the children on me. This is a real problem because they quickly discover the places I hide when playing — closet, bathroom or under the bed — and hound me until I can’t play anymore. Now I usually either play in the car or go down the street to Starbucks. The other thing to do is to wait until everyone is asleep and then get up and play at night — this can give me several hours of uninterrupted play, and was when I got my high score.

Work is also a good place to play. My boss has twice threatened to fire me if he catches me playing again, but I’m pretty sure he doesn’t mean it. Anyway, my secretary and I have worked out a warning system so that she can alert me to get off the game if she sees the boss coming. And, of course, I can always sneak out to Starbucks when I am at work, too.

I would appreciate it if anyone else out there who is having the same problems finding quality playing time would share any tips they have. Thanks also to whoever it was who suggested deliberately losing a ball as a way to get the white bricks to stop dropping on level 16. I tried it last night and it worked great.

Yes, im a 26 year old mother of an 1 year old my husband has attempted to rip my bb out of hand i quickly paused (by the way is the best feeling in the world, pause) I quickly sat on my bb.

This game is addicting, and ridiculous I’ve played for over a year now and have had several games in the millions but my phone keeps resetting itself, I am left with no new high score and new game every time. I am going to delete from my BB drive me nuts. I have no idea how to prevent the phone from resetting itself.

I surely was an addict with 278.900 high-score and 106 lives when I deliberately lost all the lives and stopped.
But there are much more serious cases with millions in this asylum :).
I am not playing any more, will try to delete the game from bb, but for those who still will I can suggest more sensible competition: the LOWEST score to get 50 lives.

I just reached 2,000,000 with 435 lives.

Finally got to the third level!!!!!! now just hitting 50,000 with 18 lives, man it feeld good.

At 328,170 with 93 lives. A grown man shouldn’t get so happy seeing a little blue capsule become a “Life” or hate the word “Flip” so much. I think it’s time to let my 8 year old finish the game and move on. Can’t compete with some of y’all’s scores. Peace.

I’m only up to 97,260 with 43 lives. Has anyone been able to recently (in the last few months) upload their score to the high score list? Every time I try to do it, it gives me some sort of reason that it can’t be done. Also, does ANYBODY know where to see the actual high score list??

Once I tried to do that for fun - to solve all 34 levels with the lowest score.

I did it with 10,800 points. I caught at least one blue bubble so I know there can be lower scores. You have to be willing to lose a lot of lives.

My high round was 18,570. Wasn’t even trying - just got a lot of Gun bubbles on the upper levels.
