New High Score, Same Upsetting Ending

On a recent ski trip to California, I had some time to break some bricks. I racked up 962,690 points with 332 lives. This particular quest just ended when the ball disappeared into the wall. Here is a screen shot:

    I can semi-solve the lost ball issue. I’ve lost the in-play ball several times.
    I haven’t searched the ‘net for a solution to this but is anyone actually interested?

    Me too! I’m no master but I’ve had it just disappear hitting a brick. It’s so frustrating!

    Yes, It is extremely frustrating and did not used to happen in the old version of the game. Does anyone have a fix?

    Please post your semi-solution. I just had a really good game going and the ball disappeared into the wall. I don’t want to restart because this is the best i have ever done. Please help!

    Please send out the semi solution. I’ve been over $1.2M and lost the ball in the wall, above the top bricks. Is there a way to get it back?

    SOLUTION (for BlackBerry): when you loose your ball, just put your phone down and walk away. Don’t pause it or start over, just walk away. It takes several minutes (5 or so), but the game will just declare the “life lost” and start over. Good luck!

    Holy Crow this worked!!!!!! I am at 14x with 250160 and I was devistated untill I saw this thread and I am back playing!! I just left it on (not paused) on the table for like 10 min and it said try again! My last high score was 31920 and I really wanted to post a higher one. HAHAHAHA woo hoo Thanks!

    I was having the greateest game evere, no one was probably asfar as me. I had 7,450 points on the 12th level. I am so pissed right now, I just want to fight someone!! If you help me I will give you my phone..

    I just started playing this addictive game…How in the hell do you get 300 lives and 100,000+ points?
